Avocado is a wonder fruit that provides many essential nutrients and loaded with heart healthy fatty acids, antioxidants and fibers. Avocado may also help prevent cancer. I make sure to feed my baby this fruit often but she is not eating smoothie nowadays and wanted everything in the form of dosa or chapathi so she can hold it comfortably. So i searched for the recipe and tried this dosa. This is super healthy and tasty too.
- Dosa batter – 2 cups
- Avocado – 1
- Ginger powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – as needed
- Ghee – 1 tsp
1.Cut the avocado and remove the big seed. Scoop the flesh and mash into smooth paste using spoon. If you want this can be grinded in mixer.
2.Mix the dosa batter to the avocado paste. Add ginger powder and salt and mix well.
3.Heat pan, drizzle ghee and pour spoon full of batter in the pan and spread making dosa.
4.The dosa will be little sticky and very soft, so take care while turning the dosa.
5.Cook in low flame until it gets cooked well on both sides.
6.Serve hot with honey or chutney.
- Instant dosa can be prepared by adding wheat flour or rava instead of rice dosa batter.
