I am a huge coffee lover and this iced coffee is my favourite drink to order in cafes. This aromatic simple cold coffee can be made at home easily with or without ice-cream. I mostly prefer without icecream due to calories added and icecream may or may not be there at home. I have used dark forest coffee powder to make it strong. It is also good to use instant coffee powder.
- Milk – 2 cups
- Coffee powder – 2 tsp
- Cocoa powder – 1 tsp
- Chocolate Powder – 1 tsp (optional)
- Sugar – 4 tsp
- Ice cubes – 5
1.Pour boiled cooled milk into a blender.
2.Mix coffee powder with little water and boil for 2 minutes. Add sugar and boil for a minute until sugar dissolves.
3.Strain the mixture with strainer to get coffee syrup. Add this to the milk along with cocoa powder and chocolate powder.
4.Blend everything until frothy and creamy.
5.Add ice cubes to a tall glass and pour the shake into it. Sprinkle chocolate powder at top.
6.The froth at top settles down with time so serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing drink.
- Persons with milk allergies can use coconut milk or soy milk.
- Choco chips can be added to enjoy chocolaty taste in mouth while drinking.
