This smoothie is a combination of one vegetable, fruit and legume. This can be given to babies of 8 months after introducing each ingredient separately.
- Green beans – 6
- Sapodilla / chikoo – 1
- Black chickpeas – 1/3 cup
1.Soak chickpeas for about 4 hours or overnight.
2.Wash the beans and remove the edge portion on both sides.
3.Wash chikoo and peel the skin. Remove the seeds.
4.Pressure cook chickpeas and beans for two whistles.
5.Transfer all the ingredients into blender and puree finely.
- Two tsp of curd can be added while blending.
- Any veggie, fruit or legume can be used for making this smoothie.
