I have prepared this instant dosa as I didn’t plan anything for my baby’s lunch so made this dosa with wheat flour within 5 minutes. This dosa is usually prepared very thin and crispy. I have made it soft and thick like adai as it would be easy for baby to chew. This can be served hot with coconut or tomato chutney of your choice. This is not only tasty but a healthy breakfast option.
- Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
- Rice flour – 1/4 cup
- Rava – 2 tsp
- Corainder leaves – 2 tsp
- Onion chopped – 1
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – pinch
- Salt – to taste
1.Mix all the ingredients to thin consistency batter without lumps adding required water.
2.Pour a ladle of batter in a dosa tawa. Drizzle a tsp of oil ariund the edges of batter.
3.Cook for few minutes in medium flame until it turns golden brown.
4.Flip the other side and cook for few more minutes. Repeat the process for remaining batter.
5.Serve hot with ghee at top.
- No salt for babies below one year and chilli powder can be replaced with pepper powder.
