Pancakes are great finger food for baby and toddlers. I have made eggless pancake and whole eggs can be added if required. The very good thing about this pancake is that they are completely sugar free and provide goodness of fruits and cereals. This can be served with yogurt or apple sauce. I gave my baby with FRIED APPLE slices.


  • Kiwi – 1
  • Apple – 1
  • Wheat flour – 1 tsp
  • Oatmeal – 1 tsp
  • Rice flour – 1 tsp
  • Dry fruits powder – 1 tsp (optional)
  • Ghee – 1 tsp


1.Wash and Peel the skin of kiwi and apple.

2.Cut kiwi into slices and grate the apple using grater.

3.Mash both fruits in a bowl and add wheat flour, rice flour, oatmeal and dry fruits powder.

4.Mix everything into smooth batter adding little water.

5.Heat  frying pan, grease ghee and spoon the mixture into the pan to create pancake.

6.Cook covered with lid for around 2 minutes in low flame till it turns golden brown.

7.Turn over the other side carefully and cook for couple of minutes.

8.Serve after it cools down.


  • When serving for adults, sugar and all purpose flour can be added instead of oatmeal.
  • Can be served with honey on top for babies above one year.
  • Banana can be added instead of kiwi.
