RAVA MALPUA | WHEAT FLOUR MALPUA RECIPE

malpua recipe / rava wheat flour malpua / diwali recipe

Malpua recipe with step-wise pictures. Malpua is a rich North Indian dessert prepared during festivals. It is pancake dunked in sugar syrup and served with rabri. Malpua is usually prepared with refined flour and deep fried in oil. I wanted to try a healthy version so prepared in wheat flour and rava and shallow fried like normal pancake. Also I have added rooh afza to get pleasant pink color and rose flavor which resulted in richer malpua. There is many variations in making this, by adding rabri and coconut or cocoa powder to make chocolate malpua. Do try this and enjoy this traditional delicious dessert.
