Mango dumpling is the sweet dessert than can be prepared in evening as a healthy snack for kids at home. This is healthy and delicious sweet that is prepared with mango puree and atta flour. I often try making pancakes with different ingredients as my baby is a very big fan of pancake. I really liked the mango flavour in dumplings and everything got over within minutes. 🙂 🙂 Do try it and let me know your feedback 🙂
- Mango – 1 big size
- Atta flour – 2 cup
- Coconut powder – 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 3/4 cup
- Salt – pinch
- Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Ghee – as required
1.Wash the mango, cut and remove the seed. Scoop the flesh and blend into thick puree.
2.Transfer the puree into a bowl and add the remaining ingredients to it except ghee. Add required water and mix everything into a thick batter in pouring consistency.
3.Heat frying pan, drizzle ghee and pour the laddle full of batter to form pancake. Cook for a minute and flip to other side gently. Let it cook well on both sides.
4.For making dumplings, add ghee to all holes in appe pan and pour the batter. Cook for a minute and turn the other side carefully.
5.Serve the pancake and dumplings and enjoy.
- Adjust the quantity of sugar according to the sweetness of mango.
- Chopped nuts can be added for crunchiness.
