Oats and dates lassi recipe

Lassi is a refreshing Indian summer drink. This lassi is made with thick curd, oats, milk and dates in any form like syrup or jam. I had a bottle of dates jam at home lying in fridge so have added that to the lassi as sweetener. You can also add seedless dates as such or honey. It is thick, creamy, refreshing, delish and healthy.

Total time required : 5 minutes

No. Of serving : 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • Instant oats – 5 tbsp
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Curd – 1 cup
  • Dates – 10
  • Cardamom – 3
  • Ice cubes – as required

METHOD:

1. Take oats in a cup and add milk to it. Let it be soaked for 10 minutes.

2. Transfer the soaked oats along with the milk to a blender. Add curd, dates and Cardamom, ice cubes to it.

  

3. Blend everything until combined. Pour into serving glass and enjoy.
