Krishna Janmashtami or Gokulashtami is celebrated in India as the birthday of Lord Krishna. In Tamil Nadu, its called Gokulashtami and celebrated by drawing foot prints from threshold of house to Pooja room which is depicts as arrival of Lord Krishna. The babies at home are dressed like Kutty Krishna and special recipes are prepared to offer God. Some of the recipes includes seedai, aval recipes as poha or aval is considered as Lord Krishna’s favourite food. Last year we celebrated in India by dressing Shravanthi as kutty Krishna. She is adorable as Krishna and we enjoyed watching her. Here I am posting my Kutty Krishna’s Picture along with some special recipes from my kitchen which includes breakfast recipes and sweets.
